 Tamang Heritage Trail

Tamang Heritage Trail is one of the popular trekking trails in Nepal.  It is situated on the Tibetan border in the north of Kathmandu.This trail links between Mt Ganesh and Langtang regions. Mainly people living here are Tamang. While trekking through this trial one can enjoy amazing views and scenes of mountains, hills, and villages. There are many reasons to visit this trial.

This trail has picturesque villages, breathtaking Himalayas and glaciers. So, this is also one of the main reasons why people trek here. It consists of many glorious trekking areas where they can have refreshments and enjoyment. This trial also consists of the Nagthali viewpoint which is considered the best viewpoint for sightseeing.

• HIMALAYAS:
Mainly this trial links with two mountains-Mt Ganesh and Langtang Himal. These mountains attract many tourists in this region. One can climb this mountain easily while trekking in this region. Tibetan Himalayan range, Manaslu range, etc are some other mountains where trekkers can also visit.

• VILLAGES:
There are numerous beautiful villages in Tamang Heritage Trial. Some of them are Chilime, Timure, and Rasuwagadhi. These villages also add extra beauty to this region.

Tamangs are the residents of this region. Their lifestyle is very normal. They have very friendly behavior. They harvest crops and grains and are also indulge in animal husbandry for their living. Some of them also have homestay which is regarded as the best occupation in this village.
