Upper Mustang Trek is one of the most inspiring treks in the Himalayan region. The snow-capped mountains provide the best view of this region to the trekkers. Upper Mustang which is considered a remote area has just been opened for the trekking area. Though it has just been discovered, it has a high rate of visitors. This proves that the Upper Mustang region is very famous for its natural beauty. It is also famous for adventurous trekking, cycling, and so on. One can enjoy scenic beauty like views of mountains, scenes of villages, sunrise and sunset point and so on.

WAY TO TREK UPPER MUSTANG

First of all, you will drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu. You can also go by flight. Then after reaching Pokhara, you will leave for Jomsom. And this is the starting point of your trekking. This way you will reach Kagbeni, Chele, Syangmoche, Ghami, Charang, Lo Manthang, Drakmar, Ghiling, Chuksang. After trekking in these sites then you will return to Jomsom from Chuksang. This is the ending point of your trekking. Then you will drive back to Kathmandu. This way you can easily trek to Upper Mustang.

CULTURE

This region is mainly influenced by Tibetan culture. However, there are Thakalis and Gurungs also. Muktinath Temple is very famous in this region. So trekkers also trek in this region due to religious belief.

BEST SEASON TO TREK AT UPPER MUSTANG

One can trek at this region in the autumn season. This is one of the best seasons to trek in this region. However, one can trek in all seasons. But if you want to experience the best scene of this region one should trek in the autumn season.
